The calling of The Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission. It does this through Worhip, Learning & Caring, Service and Evangelism.

Covering a significant part of Greater Manchester and extending into Cheshire and Derbyshire, the Manchester & Stockport District covers inner city, industrial, post-industrial, suburban and rural areas.

Manchester Methodists are a fellowship of 20 Methodist churches, right across Manchester city and beyond. Their 1,000 members come from many different countries and backgrounds, and aims to help everyone feel at home

The Methodist Centre has a ​welcoming and growing congregation from a diverse range of backgrounds with services delivered in English and Swahili. The Chapel on the ground floor at Central Hall MCR provides an oasis in the city centre, creating a calm space and a place for prayer.
