Central Hall MCR is part of The Methodist Church; a worldwide Connexion. Based in the heart of the city cientre, we are part of the Manchester Circuit in the North West England District.
The Methodist Church is called to be a growing, inclusive, evangelistic and justice-seeking Church, responding to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission. It does this through Worship, Learning & Caring, Service and Evangelism.
NWED covers the geographical areas of Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and parts of Cheshire and Derbyshire. Within this, we cover inner city, industrial, post-industrial, suburban, and rural areas – no two towns are the same.
Manchester Methodists are a fellowship of 20 Methodist churches, right across Manchester city and beyond. Their 1,000 members come from many different countries and backgrounds, and aims to help everyone feel at home
The Methodist Centre has a welcoming and growing congregation from a diverse range of backgrounds with services delivered in English and Swahili. The Chapel on the ground floor at Central Hall MCR provides an oasis in the city centre, creating a calm space and a place for prayer.
